Cloud Solutions Architect
I designed cloud architectures on Azure and modernized existing applications, while holding up the hybrid and identity infrastructure those applications rest on. This is the role where the two halves of my profile finally met: I designed the architecture and understood the code that would run on top of it.
Cloud architecture and application modernization
- Definition of scalable Azure solutions, optimized for performance and cost.
- Design and implementation of architectures embedding artificial intelligence services —language models and APIs— into corporate applications and workflows, to modernize existing processes.
- Containerization strategy: modernizing applications with Docker, gaining portability and repeatable deployment.
- Planning and execution of workload migrations to Kubernetes, ensuring high availability.
DevOps, automation and systems integration
- Building advanced automations and internal tooling in PowerShell, Bash, Python and C# for infrastructure management.
- Design and implementation of integrations between heterogeneous systems through flow applications, automating business processes and data transfer.
- Improvement and maintenance of continuous integration and deployment pipelines, to shorten the development lifecycle.
Hybrid infrastructure, virtualization and security
- Planning and execution of a critical migration of the PKI services (Active Directory Certificate Services), securing certificate lifecycle management.
- A PKI migration is one of the least forgiving operations in a corporate infrastructure: if the chain of trust breaks, everything hanging off it stops working —authentication, signing, internal TLS— and the impact is immediate and organisation-wide.
- Identity and access management in complex Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
Observability and operations
- Monitoring implemented with Zabbix to guarantee visibility of service and infrastructure health.
